- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably within Women’s Wear, Intimates, Nightwear, or Sleepwear.
- Develop creative, commercially viable fashion collections aligned with the brand, target customer, and seasonal trends.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging styles, colours, fabrics, prints, silhouettes, and consumer preferences.
- Create mood boards, colour palettes, design concepts, prints, sketches, and technical design details.
- Review samples and provide clear feedback to ensure the required fit, quality, comfort, aesthetics, and commercial appeal.
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, colours, garment construction, prints, silhouettes, and product development.
- Translate market trends and consumer insights into attractive and commercially successful product designs.
- Collaborate effectively with buying, merchandising, sourcing, product development, and technical teams.
